Day 56 11-7

Yesterday(Monday), the guys went to the gym in the morning again and went for lessons in the afternoon.

Today we were watching a documentary/movie film on China and Zambia (it's in Africa). The two countries have relations where China helps Zambia grow and develop its country while China earns profits from investing in Zambia. The film was interesting as it showed the lives of two groups of Chinese living in China. The first one was a farmer and owns the farm while providing jobs to the local Zambian people and the other were contractors to help pave roads for Zambia.

After that we had presentations by a few groups of students. Like Russian students, Finland and Germany. The topic was on the exports and imports between China and their home countries and the trends of these exports and imports. We will present on Singapore's trends next week.

Following that, we learnt on some international conventions used for international trade. Some new terms like Free On Board(FOB), Cost&Freight(CFR), Cost,Insurance&Freight(CIF). which are used to differentiate the buyers and sellers responsibility of the goods. The responsibility of the seller ends when the goods are placed on board the ship for all these conventions.

After that, we went to finish up procedures for Jun Kai's departure from the university.

Followed that, we went to the Russian restaurant near our hostels and had dinner together before heading back for the night.
